What a great way to practice color corrections! This light level makes it an excellent tool for practicing tint back and filling services. I’ve used this mannequin in several color workshops and have enjoyed the results. Great tool!

Purchased 6 of these to host a haircut class and some color classes in the future… pivot point are the best mannequins for education plus the brand is so reputable it was the best choice o could have made.

Not the quality I’ve come to expect from Pivot Point. Bought this mannequin head for a global blonding class. From the first shampoo, as prep, it was obvious that the level 10 blonde side had over processed hair in it. I applied a gentle lightener + 20 volume developer ¾” off “scalp” aka Cold Zone to ends. Then followed up with lightner + 20 volume in the root area, per a traditional global bonding service. After 1 hour, with continual testing of strength of the hair, the hair had parked itself at a level 8. I rinsed, shampooed gently and conditioned. Lift is even throughout, though there are still dark strands that were not affected by bleach at all! So while the hair is still in good condition, I was very disappointed by the lift ability of this mannequin.

This mannequin head was a two in one! It gave our apprentice a chance to color two different base colors on one mannequin! Brilliant design and cost effective!
